Paul Alcock Bursaries
In line with Maidstone Leisure Trust status as a not-for-profit, charitable company, any spare revenue that we have is used to develop our objectives of supporting sport and active leisure in Maidstone. Since 2013 we have supported a range of activities and you can see a list of examples here.
All of our awards and bursaries are made in the name of our founder and original chairman Paul Alcock who sadly died in January 2018. If you would like to apply for funding for your club or organisation, or if you are an individual sports person who has need of financial support for costs that are beyond a reasonable expectation for you to fund yourself (for example for help with travel costs to tournaments or events, or for expensive equipment etc .) you can see the criteria here and download an application form here.
Whenever possible we like to grant our funding alongside other funding sources to maximise the funding options available to clubs. Kent County Council produce Inside Track, a regular newsletter of the funding available to not for profit organisations around the county.
