In Memoriam

Our original Founder and Chairman was Paul Alcock, who was well known locally as the previous manager of the Maidstone Mall and chair of Maidstone Town Centre Management. Paul was heavily involved in a range of local community projects and was more widely known as a former premiership referee. Paul sadly died after a long battle with cancer in January 2018. His leadership and friendship are sorely missed but his legacy is the continued development of the Trust for the benefit of the residents of Maidstone.  All Leisure Trust grants to local sports clubs are now made as ‘Paul Alcock Bursaries’ as a continuing tribute to Paul’s memory.

The Trustees are always happy to receive comments, feedback and suggestions relating to the Maidstone Leisure Centre or other sport and active leisure issues in Maidstone.  To contact us please email on info@maidstoneleisure.org
